We’re Enzo and Lizzie, and our story started in Newport Beach, California in 2023. Two SoCal natives living apartment life with our three dogs and a cat, soaking up everything the beach had to offer. We loved it, but after a while the pace of Orange County started to wear on us and we started looking for alternatives.
We made it official the only way that felt right, at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, and soon after made the move to Summerlin to be closer to family with mornings that finally felt slow enough to enjoy.
That’s when Desert Bloom Homestead started to take shape. We planted a garden, got into raising chickens, and became a lot more intentional about what ends up on our table. We’d be the first to call ourselves a “crunchy” household, and we wear it proudly! For us, that means eating organic, reading labels, and feeding our flock the same way.
Our chickens are raised naturally on a certified organic diet. While the USDA prevents the “organic” label on the eggs themselves, the commitment behind every egg is exactly the same: clean feed, free range living, and raising happy chickens that are genuinely loved and cared for.
